An All-Inclusive Experience

Unlike many traditional all-inclusive resorts where the focus is primarily on unlimited food, drinks and entertainment, Hacienda AltaGracia takes a very different approach.

Its all-inclusive rate includes all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, daily wellness and adventure programming, access to the fitness center, Casa de Agua wellness facilities, and hiking trails. The resort also includes shared charter flights between San José International Airport and the resort's private airstrip for two guests, subject to the property's terms and weather conditions. Ground transportation is also included as part of the resort experience.

It's less about a traditional "all-inclusive vacation" and more about an all-inclusive wellness journey.

One of my favorite things about Hacienda AltaGracia is that wellness does not mean guests have to spend the entire vacation inside a spa. The resort sits on a working landscape that includes coffee farms, gardens, rainforest and equine facilities. Guests can choose from wellness activities, cultural experiences and outdoor adventures depending on their interests and energy level.That makes it particularly appealing for couples or friends who don't necessarily want the exact same type of vacation. One person can enjoy yoga or a spa treatment while another explores the property, goes hiking or participates in an adventure.
